Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) celebrate Halloween early with "The Chariot / Judgment / The Hermit," the third part of their serialized play THE MAJOR ARCANA or THE FOOL'S JOURNEY. Playwright Stephen Gracia and director Michael LoPorto pair professional D3C actors with BFA Acting students from alma-mater Brooklyn College. This seasonal supernatural performance features a witch trial and séance.

The show starts at 8pm on October 29, downstairs at Mr. Dennehy's 63 Carmine Street, New York, NY 10014. Admission is free with a $3 suggested donation.

According to Gracia,"The Chariot / Judgment / The Hermit" also includes "ghosts, heresy, and the cyclical nature of inhuman acts." Each of the short plays function as stand-alone pieces in this occult installment of THE MAJOR ARCANA or THE FOOL'S JOURNEY, but returning audiences will notice recurring characters and themes. Collectively, the performances interconnect to form a season-spanning narrative that see main character 'The Fool' on a journey through each of the Major Arcana Tarot cards.

"It's a night of 'horror philosophy,'" Gracia explains, "just in time for Halloween."

Gracia joined with LoPorto to co-found D3C in Greenwich Village. The theatrical collective is now in its fifth season of producing original theatre, and continues last year's partnership with Brooklyn College. In teaming with their BFA Acting program, D3C provides the undergrad students with an opportunity to perform under the guidance of seasoned theatre artists.

"The Chariot/Judgement/ The Hermit' features: Sarah Beitch, Patrick Delaney, Rachel Fink, Marisela Gonzalez, Kendra Leigh Landon, Anthony Marino, Ridley Parson, Gil Ron, and Anika Solveig.

Dialogue with Three Chords was founded by Stephen Gracia and Michael LoPorto and applies the do-it-yourself philosophy of punk to the stage and features short plays and live music. Their work has also been produced at Sargent Theatre, Makor Theater, DUMBO Theatre Exchange, Levenson Hall at Brooklyn College, and the Theaters at 45 Bleecker.
