Jenny Wiley Theatre Sets 50th Anniversary Celebration for Summer 2014

The Jenny Wiley Alumni Association and Jenny Wiley Theatre are currently planning the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Jenny Wiley Theater in Prestonsburg, KY. for summer, 2014. The Alumni Association is currently searching for anyone who has worked as cast or crew at Jenny Wiley Theatre, during it's 50 year history.

The Jenny Wiley Theatre, located in Prestonsburg, Ky, has presented productions of classic Broadway musicals and the historical musical drama Jenny Wiley! at the Jenny Wiley Amphitheatre, located within the Jenny Wiley State Resort Park.

The theater's first musical was South Pacific, performed in the summer of 1965. Many of the alumni later achieved celebrity in television, film and Broadway musicals, including Broadway's Michael Cerveris (Evita), James Barbour (Jane Eyre), Lawrence Leritz (Fiddler On The Roof), Paige Davis (Chicago) and Mary Stout (Beauty & The Beast); Sharon Lawrence (Broadway, ABC's Desperate Housewives); Jim Varney (Ernest Goes to Camp); Tommy Kirk (Old Yeller); Ron Palillo (Welcome Back Kotter); Eileen Bittman Barnett (Days of our Lives); Cynthia Bostick (As the World Turns); Jeff Silbar, composer of "The Wind Beneath my Wings" and RAndy Jones of The Village People.
