The home was no exception, as owners went wild with faux finishes, inflatable furniture, shabby chic, armoires, stencil painting and more. With the help of design pros and pop-culture experts, we're opening the HGTV and DIY archives to tackle the worst trends from the '90s and see if we can answer the question: "What were we thinking?"
