Quote of the Day: In honor of Jerry Herman's birthday and the weekend, here are some our favorite lyrics to HELLO, DOLLY!'s "Put On Your Sunday Clothes"...

Put on your Sunday clothes when you feel down and out
Strut down the street and have your picture took
Dressed like a dream your spirits seem to turn about
That Sunday shine is a certain sign
That you feel as fine as you look!
Beneath your parasol, the world is all a smile
That makes you feel brand new down to your toes
Get out your feathers
Your patent leathers
Your beads and buckles and bows
For there's no blue Monday in your Sunday clothes!

What we're watching: Robin Williams' final film, BOULEVARD, which opens in New York City today. Check out the trailer below!
And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Jerry Herman, who turns 84 today!
Among composer/lyricist Jerry Herman's prolific repertoire are Broadway's La Cage aux Folles (for which he won the 1984 Tony for Best Original Score), Barbara Cook's Broadway, An Evening with Jerry Herman, Hello, Dolly! (which earned him two Tony Awards in 1964), Jerry's Girls, Mame, A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine, The Grand Tour, Mack & Mabel, Dear World, Milk and Honey and From A to Z. Herman was honored with a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2009, and was a recipient of the 2010 Kennedy Center Honors.
