And a Happy Birthday shout-out to John Cameron Mitchell, who turns 52 today!

Creator and current star of Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Mitchell has also appeared on the Great White Way in The Secret Garden, Six Degrees of Separation and Big River. He also helmed Kingdom of Earth off-Broadway and appeared onstage in Missing Persons, Hello Again, The Destiny of Me and more. Mitchell last starred on the small screen in HBO's Girls. He wrote, directed and produced the film Shortbus and also directed Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart in the 2010 film adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Rabbit Hole.
