And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Jenifer Lewis, who turns 59 today!

Lewis last starred on Broadway in HAIRSPRAY as 'Motormouth Maybelle'. Before that, she appeared on the Great White Way in ROCK 'N ROLL! THE FIRST 5,000 YEARS, COMIN' UPTOWN and EUBIE! (she also traveled with the show on tour), as well as off-Broadway's PROMISES, PROMISES, EL BRAVO! and 'MOTHER COURAGE' at Shakespeare in the Park. The actress has performed her solo show THE DIVA IS DISMISSED across the globe. She is well known for voicing the roles of 'Flo' in Disney's CARS and 'Mama Odie' in DIsney's THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG. Among her other film credits are WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT, THE PREACHER'S WIFE, THINK LIKE A MAN, HEREAFTER, THE WEDDING RINGER and more. She currently stars in the ABC sitcom BLACK-ISH.
