BroadwayWorld.com is, once again, celebrating the Holiday Season with a special 'countdown' which will reveal some favorite holiday-themed performances! For the 5th Anniversary of this Exclusive Feature, we've invited director/producer Richard Jay-Alexander to be our first-ever Guest Editor, to share with us HIS holiday favorites. His list will be composed of holiday songs and boasting performances with artists we know and love from Broadway and beyond. We'll bet that this countdown will surely get you into the holiday spirit, as the big day rolls around on December 25th, but we won't forget Chanukkah and Kwanzaa either. This is sure to be a 'Must Check-In Daily' event to see what's on RJA's list, while we wish you Happy Holidays from all of us at BroadwayWorld.com!

Now, that the gifts have been opened, the meals have been shared, the celebrations and reunions have calmed down a bit, the pets are asleep and exhausted and YOU are thinking about maybe having another piece of pie or making a sandwich, we have something for you to enjoy :)

Well, as promised ... we have a CHRISTMAS DAY (night) BONUS to our 12 Days of Christmas "video" features series that ended yesterday. You've all been so great about following this series that you 'earned it' so I dare say, here it is 'By Popular Demand'. And, SPECIAL it is. Once again, we dove into the VAULTS of BroadwayWorld.com on ICE, a benefit we did, back in 2006, with proceeds going to BC/EFA.

I have done a number of benefits for BWW & BC/EFA, but in the series that we did at JOE'S PUB, Natalie Toro was always one of our BIGGEST HITS and became a "staple" in all our shows, always bringing with her a new (fictitious) story and chapter in her life & tawdry career and ALWAYS bringing "her boys."

I first met Natalie Toro when she replaced Frances Ruffelle in the role of Eponine in the Original Broadway Production of LES MISERABLES. It only took a short chat during her audition to find out that we were both of Latin heritage, and immediately bonded. So...after many years, she instantly came to mind when Rob and I gave birth to this idea.

Taken from the mind of Terrence McNally and his hit play, THE RITZ, we brought Googie Gomez back to life. This character is Latin, crazy and loves 'the show business.' She was, I think you could say, "her own creation." This role also earned Rita Moreno a Tony Award.

In the Holiday show that we did, Googie and her boys from the bathhouse, who we called our "Jingle Boys" (played by Josh Walden and Kurt Domoney), drop in to Joe's Pub to celebrate the Holidays (even wearing a "loaner" from Bob Mackie!) TRUE!

We will stop at NOTHING .... to entertain!
