'Transformers' star Shia LaBeouf turned to Twitter this week to announce that he is doing a performance-art piece based around his running workouts.
Tweeted the actor: RUN:- to move swiftly on foot
- to PROCESS or execute a PROGRAM or instruction
- an unbroken series of PERFORMANCES He later added "#METAMARATHON at the @Stedelijk Amsterdam 09.25.14." According to ET, the Amsterdam museum confirmed the event in question, revealing that LaBeouf will "#metamarathon walk around the building of the Stedelijk Museum," and "visitors are invited to join ...running shoes are optional." As BWW reported earlier this month, LaBeouf pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct at a June performance of Roundabout's Cabaret at New York's Studio 54. Following his plea, THE JUDGE ordered him to complete 6 months of outpatient alcohol rehab, of which he has already completed three. In addition, if the actor obeys all laws for the next 6 months, the case will be stricken from his record. In July, LaBeouf had been charged in Manhattan Criminal Court with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing. Back in June, the actor was seen smoking inside the New York theater and engaging in other disruptive behavior during the performance of Cabaret. When he was asked to leave, he refused and then threatened police officers and people on the sidewalk outside.
