Oscar, Tony and Olivier winner Vanessa Redgrave and Tony winner Ralph Fiennes will reunite as mother and son in their first London stage outing together this summer in Shakespeare's RICHARD III at the Almeida Theatre. The pair previously appeared as family in Fiennes' film CORIOLANUS.

The Daily Mail reports that Fiennes will be taking on the title role, with Redgrave as Queen Margaret. The first preview is slated for June 6, and opening night is set for June 14, 2016. Rupert Goold directs.

Fiennes is returning to the stage just after finishing THE MASTER BUILDER at the Old Vic. He can currently be seen on the big screen in the Coen brothers' HAIL, CAESAR! Among his past stage credits are HAMLET (which won him a Tony Award in 1995) and FAITH HEALER on Broadway, and THE TEMPEST in the West End.

The Oscar and Golden Globe nominee is well known for his film roles in SCHINDLER'S LIST, THE ENGLISH PATIENT, RED DRAGON, THE CONSTANT GARDENER, IN BRUGES, THE READER, GREAT EXPECTATIONS, THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, SKYFALL and as 'Voldemort' in the HARRY POTTER movies.

Redgrave last starred on Broadway in DRIVING MISS DAISY. Before that, she appeared in THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING, which won her a Tony in 2007, and LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, which nabbed her a Tony and a Drama Desk in 2003. Her other Broadway credits include ORPHEUS DESCENDING and THE LADY FROM THE SEA. Redgrave started her career with the Royal Shakespeare Company and went on to win an Olivier for her performance in the West End's ASPERN PAPERS.

She won an Oscar for JULIA in 1977 and was nominated for her performances in MORGAN: A SUITABLE CASE FOR TREATMENT, ISADORA, MARY, QUEEN OF SCOTS, THE BOSTONIONS and HOWARDS END. More recently, Redgrave has appeared on the big screen in ATONEMENT and LEE DANIEL'S THE BUTLER.
