BOMBSHELL says happy birthday to Marilyn!

NBC's musical dramedy series SMASH ended after two seasons earlier this decade, but the Broadway-centric series will feature in a new reunion concert set to highlight material from the musical-within-the-series BOMBSHELL, inspired by the life of Marilyn Monroe, on June 8 at a star-studded concert announced several weeks ago when the Kickstarter campaign racked up a grand total of $318,120.

A new look at the cast in rehearsal for the event is now available to view, highlighting star Megan Hilty celebrating the birth of Marilyn Monroe alongside cast mates.

Cast member Reed Kelly posted a shot of himself alongside the beaming bombshell herself, writing, "Could not be more thrilled to be working with this beautiful lady again! And on Marilyn Monroe's Birthday! #Bombshell #SMASH #Rehearsal
