According to Deadline, Broadway's Matthew James Thomas has landed a role as a series regular in a drama pilot for HBO, titled THE DEVIL YOU KNOW. He joins Ever Carradine, Damien Molony, Julian Rhind Tutt, Nigel Lindsay, Ewen Bremner, Karen Gillan, Hannah Nordberg, Naian Gonzalez Norvind and Zawe Ashton in the new series from ORANGE IS THE NEW BALCK creator Jenji Kohan.

Thomas plays Henry Paine, "a newcomer from England" in the series, which revovles around the Salem Witch Trials.

Matthew James Thomas starred as the title role in the 2013 original Tony Award winning production of PIPPIN on Broadway and at American Repertory Theater. He also appeared on Broadway as Peter Parker in Spider-Man. Matthew's debut EP of original music No Sound At All is available wherever music is sold digitally online.
