Lost in Line Productions will make their grand debut in the Toronto Fringe Festival, with an original comedy by Joseph Garrett. "The Pain in my Ass or: How to Adult", directed by Daniela Cerrone, uses humour to explore an issue currently affecting many young Canadians. Young people are finishing their education and want to find work, but they are unable to land a job because they often need experience or more education if they want to be considered for hiring in this ultra competitive job market. No one is giving these people direction, and these young minds are scared to ask for help because they do not want to seem inexperienced or unable to handle the world of adulthood. This show strives to open up a discussion about what it means to be a young adult in Canada and how that differs from the societal expectations placed on these young Canadians. Featuring a stellar cast that includes Feerass Ellid, Marina Gwynne, Laura Ball, Evan Williams, Lee Poichuk, and Braydon Keilty. These actors are bringing their personal experiences as young Canadians into their performances to create real characters that everyone will be able to relate with on some level.

About - Solomon Roberts is fresh out of school and looking to begin the next phase of his life. His mother and father expect him to continue his education, while his girlfriend expects him to plan for the future and begin to settle down. Solomon is scared having all this pressure and responsibility on him, so he develops a desire to go abroad for work or just travel the world. As he struggles to make a decision, he notices an odd hole around his tailbone. He goes to the doctor and learns that he has a pilonidal cyst, which can only be removed through surgery. Solomon chooses to undergo the procedure, but the unexpectedly long recovery time leaves makes him worry that his life is stagnating. Solomon feels totally left behind when he learns his brother is getting married and already expecting a child by the end of the year! Now he cannot help but compare his life with the lives of everyone else he knows. Will Solomon be stuck watching others move forward, or will he be able to take a step toward his own direction through life?
