Iconic Daytime Star to Take the Stage in SHOULDA BEEN YOU at Gretna Theatre

Gretna Theatre is excited to announce that iconic daytime serial actress Kim Zimmer will take the Gretna Theatre stage in It Shoulda Been You. She assumes the role of Judy Steinberg, which was originated by Tyne Daley in the Broadway production.

Zimmer is best known for her portrayal of Reva Shayne on Guiding Light for which she received four Lead Actress Emmys along with 11 Nominations. She recently wrapped up her record-breaking tour with the First National Company of Wicked.

Dennis Courtney, a director out of New York City who has an extensive history with Gretna Theatre will helm the show that also features Hershey, PA's own Broadway veteran, Jane Brockman.

The Gretna production of It Shoulda Been You show opens Thursday, July 28 and marks the Pennsylvania premier of the new musical comedy written by Brian Hargrove with music by Barbara Anselmi. This hilarious comedic romp was originally directed on Broadway by David Hyde Pierce; Niles from the television sitcom Frasier.

It Shoulda Been You runs on a Thursday through Saturday schedule starting this week. It closes on Saturday, August 6.
