Broadway headliner and Glee breakout star Darren Criss reveals his love of The Beatles and reflects on his own earliest musical memories as part of a new fan-generated interview session.

Commenting on the moment in his life when he knew he wanted to pursue music as a career, Criss reveals, "I don't know, I think it's a series of moments. I spent most of my time listening to music as a kid, I bought a ton of Beatles tapes when I was like 8 and that's all I cared about, listening to those tapes. Like any kid into music, I just jumped around my room pretending I was a Beatle. I think a lot of kids do that for their favorite artists as kids- hell, I still do that now. But as I got older and actually STUDIED music more and more and started seeing more and more live bands, orchestras, symphonies, etc, I realized- hey, maybe I could actually do this myself."

Additionally, Criss shares, "Now, I don't know if I'll ever be able to play as well as half the people that inspired me to play in the first place, but I think that very pursuit is what keeps me being a musician."
