Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City.

Al(exandra) Silber's Casual Monday

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is thrilled to announce that Grammy nominee and Broadway star Alexandra Silber will perform on the historic stage on Monday, June 20 at 7pm. In her intimate evening, she will celebrate the cd release of Arlington, a new musical written by Victor Lodato and Polly Pen.

Alexandra Silber is a 2014 Grammy® nominee for her portrayal of Maria in West Side Story with the San Francisco Symphony and is currently playing Tzeitel in the revival of Fiddler on the Roof. On BROADWAY, she has performed in Master Class, Arlington (Outer Critics Circle nom), Hello, Again, (Drama League nom), Song of Norway, and She Loves Me. In London's WEST END, she has been seen in Kiss Me, Kate (Lilli/Kate for BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall), Carousel (Julie - TMA Award), Fiddler on The Roof (Hodel), and The Woman In White (Laura). Regionally, she's starred in My Fair Lady, Carousel, and Love Story. On the big and small screens, she's been seen in Mysteries Of Laura; all three Law & Orders; Kiss Me, Kate (BBC), 1408, and The 57th Grammy Awards. Alexandra has performed concerts with the San Francisco, Detroit and American symphonies, the Orchestra of St Luke's, Carnegie Hall, Caramoor, and John Wilson Orchestra at the London Proms.

Lorna Luft Celebrates Pride Week

After several sold-out Feinstein's/54 Below engagements, Lorna Luft returns with a brand new show to celebrate Pride Week in NYC! The evening will be a celebration of what it means to be proud. Join Lorna Luft as she sings, tells stories, and focuses on the history behind New York City Pride and what it means to her while also dedicating her show to everyone who has pride in themselves. This is a show for all ages, shapes, and sizes and is a true celebration of who we all are, Lorna- style!

Born to legendary entertainer Judy Garland and producer Sid Luft, Lorna Luft made her performing debut singing on The Judy Garland Show. Since then, she has had dozens of starring and guest-starring roles on film and television, ranging from Grease 2 and Where the Boys Are '84 to the series Murder, She Wrote and Sean Saves the World. Lorna was co-executive producer of Life with Judy Garland, the five-time Emmy Award-winning miniseries based on her best-selling memoir, Me and My Shadows.

For the past several years, Lorna has been starring in American and British productions of Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Her other theatrical credits include her Broadway debut in Promises, Promises; Off-Broadway's Snoopy and Extremities; the national tour of They're Playing Our Song; a British tour of Pack of Lies; and Gypsy, Grease, Guys and Dolls, Mame, and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, among many others.

Lorna is also a gifted concert and cabaret artist, performing in the world's most prestigious venues, including The Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, The London Palladium, and L'Olympia in Paris. Her highly acclaimed multi-media production, Songs My Mother Taught Me-The Judy Garland Songbook, melds one of the world's most familiar songbooks with personal memories. It won two Ovation Awards, and a CD based on the show was released by First Night Records.

Anything But Love the Musical in Concert

Come be the first to experience the newest wave of musical theatre writing by Legends Of Tomorrow star Ciara Renée and breakout writer Arianna Taxman. Anything But Love follows the stories of three women trying to navigate the complexities of dating and love, through society's prescribed paradigms for both. All this while incorporating a score that seamlessly blends tribal chants, folk-rock story-telling, and a contemporary pop sound. Their will be loop pedals, there will be audience (percussion) participation, and you may just leave with a few of your burning questions about love answered. The musical has music and lyrics by Arielle O'Keefe, and book by Arianna Taxman and Ciara Renée. Featuring Natalie Tenenbaum on piano.
