Broadway Vet Joshua Park Passes Away at 38

BroadwayWorld.com is sad to report the death of actor and Broadway vet Joshua Park at the young age of 38, following a brief illness. Our condolences go out to his family, friends, loved ones and colleagues.

Most known to theatre audiences for his leading roles on Broadway in THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER, as well as the national tour of PIPPIN and PRODIGAL at the York theatre, Joshua Park spent more than 14 years as a professional actor and director in New York and Chicago.

His film and television credits have included cult favorites THE BOG CREATURES and FORT DOOM as well as an appearance with Kristen Bell on THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW (footage below).

As a director he has worked with such greats as Austin Pendleton and Mickey Dolenz on several projects including EQUUS and TOTAL ECLIPSE. He is a graduate of The North Carolina School of the Arts.

Recently, he served as Production Manager and Casting Assistant for SEEKING SUBLET, a new comedy web series about two roommates in search of the perfect third roommate in New York City.

He was born on November 26, 1976 in Union County, North Carolina.
