A collection of fascinating photos depicting the original cast recording sessions of the premiere Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's multi-Tony Award-winning musical A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC are now available to view courtesy of Masterworks Broadway.

Composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim can be spotted sharing the mixing booth with famed producer Goddard Lieberson while taking in the sounds of the sessions.

Additionally, some glimpses of the starry original cast of Harold Prince's original production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC are available, as well, including Glynis Johns, Hermione Gingold, Len Cariou, Teri Ralston and more.

Of note, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC originally opened on Broadway on February 23, 1973 and closed August 3, 1974. Subsequently, in 2009, a revival headlined by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, directed by Trevor Nunn, premiered on Broadway.
