Andrea Bocelli to Be Honored with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Internationally-renowned Opera and Pop singer Andrea Bocelli will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony scheduled for March 2, 2010, according to a report in Variety.

Bocelli has recorded over 22 pop and classical albums, including seven operas, and has sold over 70 million copies woldwide. In 1995, Bocelli partnered with British singer and actress Sarah Brightman in a duet of 'Time To Say Goodbye', which is arguably his biggest hit.

Recently, Bocelli sang 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', a duet with Mary J. Blige at the 2010 Grammy Awards which was released as a single to benefit the aid relief efforts in Haiti.
