Josh Sharpe is the Entertainment Editor for BroadwayWorld. For as long as he can remember, he has been in love with movies and the people who make them. This passion for great storytelling has been the driving force of his career journey.
An entertainment journalist since 2018, he has extensively covered the film and television industry, with bylines in Paste Magazine, TheaterMania, Collider, and The DisInsider. Across these platforms, he has produced numerous interviews, reviews, and news pieces, with a particular emphasis on The Walt Disney Company. During this time, he has had the privilege of interviewing such creatives as Hayley Mills, Jodi Benson, and Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
A graduate of Western Washington University, he studied Theatre and has since dabbled in directing. He has also appeared onstage in musicals like Into the Woods as The Baker and The Fantasticks as Matt.

Ayo Edebiri (Theater Camp, The Bear) will be appearing alongside Andrew Garfield and Julia Roberts in a new film from director Luca Guadagnino. The film, titled After the Hunt, is written by Nore Garett and centers on a college professor who faces a crisis when a colleague is accused of misconduct and her own secret from her past is at risk of being exposed.
Edmund Donovan, who was recently seen on Broadway in the play Clyde's, has been cast in the upcoming thriller Echo Valley from Apple. Donovan joins a stacked cast that includes Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney, Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan, and Fiona Shaw. The film is directed by Michael Pearce, who directed 2017's Beast starring Jessie Buckley and Geraldine James. Brad Ingelsby, of Mare of Easttown, wrote the screenplay.
Indie rock trio Last Dinosaurs have announced their new album KYORYU is now available for purchase on vinyl. A record in two parts, the album celebrates the brother songwriting duo of Sean and Lachlan Caskey as they weave a space-age tale that serves as the soundtrack to the manga created with friend and writer Erick Carrara and artists Em Niwa (KYO) and Chris Yee (RYU).
