Peerless by Jiehae Park is a darkly comic, razor-sharp reimagining of Macbeth set in the pressure-cooker world of elite college admissions, directed by Keltie Forsyth. The play follows twin sisters M and L as ambition spirals into obsession, skewering narratives around affirmative action and meritocracy with a comedian's precision and a thriller's momentum. Forsyth returns to the Ensemble Theatre Festival after previously directing Superior Donuts in 2019 and In the Next Room (or the Vibrator Play) in 2017.
