TOHO's stage adaptation of Studio Ghibli's Oscar-winning animated film returns to the London Coliseum for a return engagement as the concluding stop of its 2026–2028 world tour. The production is directed and co-adapted by John Caird, with set design by Jon Bausor, puppets by Toby Olié, choreography by Shigehiro Ide, and costumes by Sachiko Nakahara. A previous London run in 2024 played to sold-out audiences of over 300,000 people across 17 weeks, winning Best New Play at the 2025 WhatsOnStage Awards and earning four Olivier Award nominations.
