The Free Concert Series at the Canadian Opera Company offers a month of diverse artistic programming in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre. Starting on February 5, 2025, acclaimed jazz pianist and composer Thompson Egbo-Egbo will perform a special program celebrating Black History Month. Subsequent concerts feature tenor Isaiah Bell, COC Ensemble Studio artists competing for prestigious awards, and performances by the COC Orchestra focusing on contemporary Canadian composers. A finale concert on February 28 will showcase a collaboration between the U of T Faculty of Music and the Académie Francis Poulenc, featuring piano-vocal duos performing French Mélodie and Canadian art songs.
