The Royal Conservatory of Music has revealed the cast for the 2024 holiday season production of Into the Woods in concert.
Fresh off a successful three-production tour to Auckland, Aotearoa/New Zealand, Talk Is Free Theatre (TIFT) is back in Canada and returning to a Toronto stage this March.
The COAL MINE THEATRE will produce their first ever World Premiere, a fully sung through rock opera based on Euripides’ The Bacchae, DION: A ROCK OPERA. The production is co-created by COAL MINE co-founder Ted Dykstra and Prince Edward Island poet and novelist, Steven Mayoff.

Guild Festival Theatre will present this uproarious adaptation of Jerome K. Jerome’s classic Victorian satire, Three Men in a Boat. Created by award-winning writer and director team Mark Brownell (Tapestry Opera, Pea Green Theatre) and Sue Miner (YPT, Canadian Stage, Factory Theatre).
Factory will present the world premiere of acts of faith, by multi-award winning Asian Canadian playwright David Yee, directed by Nina Lee Aquino, and starring Natasha Mumba. Written specifically to be performed for a digital platform, acts of faith will stream live to audiences at home for six performances, November 19-28, 2020.
This year, The Theatre Centre is embarking on what may be the most ambitious year of creation in its history. They will be supporting an unprecedented 16 projects led by 20 artists; creating two new development streams and more.
