Their new show Shamrock Tenors: Christmas in Belfast will be here in DC at the Kennedy Center for a one week only engagement from November 25th through the 30th in the Eisenhower Theater. This engagement marks Raymond’s North American professional debut.
Today’s subject Maaike Laanstra-Corn is currently living her theatre life onstage playing the role of Hedvig in the rarely produced Henrik Ibesn play The Wild Duck at Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC). The show continues performances through November 16th at STC’s Klein Theatre.
Today’s subjects Edwaard Liang and Dwight Rhoden make up two fourths of the choreographic team for The Washington Ballet’s program of Moving Forces. The production will be presented in the Eisenhower Theater at Kennedy Center on October 24th through 26th.

She is preparing to begin performances for the new touring production of The Sound of Music where she will be playing the role of Mother Abbess. The tour officially begins performances September 9th in the Opera House at Kennedy Center where it will run through October 5th after having it’s soft opening in Utica NY on September 5th and 6th.
Today’s subject Ana Villafañe is currently living her theatre life at Arena Stage preparing to begin performances of the newly revised version of Damn Yankees. She will be playing the iconic role of Lola made famous by Gwen Verdon. The show will run from September 9th to November 9th in Arena Stage’s Fichandler Stage space.

Today’s subject Francesca Zambello is currently living her theatre life as the Artistic Director of Washington National Opera (WNO). She has been in the position since 2012. Her production of Porgy and Bess begins performances this evening in the Opera House at Kennedy Center where it will play through May 31st.
Today’s subject Carolee Carmello is a performer of epic proportions to be sure. Her career has thus far included turns on Broadway, national tours, regional theatres, and on several recordings. Currently she is playing the title role in the national tour of the Tony Award winning musical Kimberly Akimbo. The tour will be at the National Theatre from May 20th through June 1st.
Today’s subject Maestro Steven Reineke is currently living his theatre and music life to the max as the Principal Pops Conductor for YOUR National Symphony Orchestra (NSO.) He has held that position since 2011 after debuting with the symphony the year before. His upcoming appearances with the NSO at Kennedy Center include a symphonic screening of The Wizard of Oz on May 22nd at 8:00 and Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony on June 26th and 27th at 8:00.
