Venue Ensemble Theatre Presnts Reza's ART, 11/6-11/22

The Venue Ensemble Theatre will present Yasmina Reza's ART from November 6th through November 22nd. The cast features Steve DuMouchel, Eric Misener, and Mark Myers and is directed Michael Holden. Venue Theatre will donate a portion of each ticket sold to the Creative Clay organization.

Eight O'Clock Theatre will open their new production of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN beginning tonight, October 30th at the Largo Cultural Center in Tampa. The production stars Jonathon Pouliot as Don Lockwood and is directed by Rand Smith.

Last September, the presidents of the North Tampa Arts League, the Tampa Realistic Artists, Inc, the Brandon League of Fine Arts, and the Westchase Artists' Society formed the Hillsborough County Visual Arts Alliance. Each society is working cooperatively with all four societies to promote, support, and educate local artists and the community.

On Tuesday, Kyle Beltran, Rogelio Douglas Jr., Natalie Toro and Shaun Taylor-Corbett kicked off the National Tour of IN THE HEIGHTS in Tampa, Floria at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center with a bang. Though most shows try desperately to keep the critics out during the first preview performances to work out any kinks, IN THE HEIGHTS was an exception, according to Tampa Bay Online. And boy, were they pleased.

Following the tradition of the classic ghost story popularized by Charles Dickens and M.R James, Henry James and Edith Wharton, The Woman in Black relies on atmosphere, a vivid sense of place, hints, glimpses and suggestions, to chill the blood and send shivers down the spine. Having already sold over 4,000 tickets, American Stage Theatre Company has extended the run of August Wilson's FENCES one extra week, thru October 18. The extension will be Wednesday, Oct. 14 thru Sunday, Oct. 18, with no performance on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
