Asolo Rep Receives $100,000 Grant from Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation

Asolo Repertory Theatre, Florida's premier professional theatre, is proud to announce that it is the recipient of a $100,000 grant from the Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation. The grant will provide core support for Asolo Rep's highly anticipated 2015-16 season. It will also further enrich the theatre's partnership with the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, helping underwrite the costs of 12 second-year students to travel to London for an invaluable six-week training session.

Tampa Repertory Theatre will present Lillian Hellman's groundbreaking 1934 drama The Children's Hour in the Smith Black Box theater at Tampa Preparatory School, 727 West Cass Street in downtown Tampa, tonight, September 17 through October 4. Performances are at 7:30 PM todays, 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 PM on Sundays. Patrons may purchase tickets at the door or from a link on TampaRep's website at http://www.tamparep.org.

This special anniversary season will kick off in the Keating Theatre with Rumplestiltskin adapted by Beth Duda and Adam Ratner. Directed by Associate Artist, Jason Cannon, performances begin in the Keating Theatre on Monday, October 1 and will play through November 13 to students from Sarasota and Manatee County schools.
