About the program
The Music Education Program is a comprehensive course of study which leads to a Bachelor of Music Degree (Mus.B.) and is designed for students interested in a career as a music teacher in grades K-12. This program fulfills the New York State Education Department’s requirements for initial certification in Music Education (pending the passing of NYS written and practical assessments).
