Concerts from the Library of Congress will launch an exciting, yearlong America 250 celebration this January, presenting a broad panorama of the nation's music in concerts and conversations, lectures, film screenings, educational programs and more.

The Library of Congress has acquired rare handwritten music and lyric sketches from Harold Arlen and Yip Harburg’s The Wizard of Oz, including the only known draft of “Over the Rainbow.” The materials join the Harold Arlen Collection and will be displayed in Washington, D.C., from October 23, 2025 to January 7, 2026.
