By Deborah Pryor Directed by Jeff Casazza Something sinister is lurking in the woods. In a small, isolated house surrounded by a dark forest deep in the Appalachian Mountains, two orphaned sisters live alone in this cautionary, coming-of-age fable reminiscent of the Brothers Grimm and Stephen King. The sisters quickly learn that they are not as safe as they imagined, and that someone (or something) is determined to disturb the life they’ve built together. Atmospheric, sensual, and eerie, this supernatural tale is sure to leave you with goosebumps as it builds to its terrifying conclusion. Rated R.
