JIVE CULTURE SHOCK at Oddball Concepts

Jive Culture Shock returns this September, showcasing the vibrant talents of Cape minstrels and Malay choirs at the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Athlone. In its fifth season, this cultural competition brings together young artists for an electrifying showdown as four teams compete in various performance categories, including solos and comedic acts. Judges such as Armien Vardien, Felecia Lesch, Sam Crouch, and Jitsvinger will assess the competing teams, while hosts Tashreeq ‘TDV’ Devilliers and Shadley Schroeder keep the energy high. A special brass band battle on Heritage Day adds to the excitement, making this event a celebration of Cape Town's rich cultural heritage.
