New Georges, the OBIE-winning downtown theater company founded in 1992, will present the world premiere of American playwright Maggie Smith's peculiar fable Good Heif, a full-length play, directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde. Good Heif will be presented in SoHo at the Ohio Theatre. Previews begin October 6, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, October 8 at 7PM. Performances will run through Saturday, October 27.

The Public Theater announced complete casting for the 40th anniversary concert celebration of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Directed by Diane Paulus with book and lyrics by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot, HAIR will play for three-nights-only, September 22, 23 & 24 at 7PM as part of Joe's Pub in the Park.

INTAR Theatre, one of America's longest running Latino theaters producing plays in English, begins its 42nd season with a production of Pulitzer Prize-winner Maxwell Anderson's Night Over Taos, directed by Academy Award-winning actress and director Estelle Parsons. This rediscovered classic will play a limited Off-Broadway run from September 20 through October 20 at Theater for the New City. The official opening is set for Monday, October 1 at 7PM.

The battle between life and death is played out in Rabbit Hole Ensemble's world premiere production of The Night of Nosferatu. Written by Stanton Wood and based on the F.W. Murnau silent film Nosferatu and Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, the work will be directed by Edward Elefterion and will begin performances on September 28th at the WorkShop Theatre.
