Twin Cities teens kick off the 19th season of Shakespearean Youth Theatre with the Everest of Shakespeare's achievements.

Fidler and Kendall aren't only interested in the literary titans of the past's heavy works. The first production for their new company? William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors.

Finding new ways to tell age old stories is as old as time.  Greek and Roman mythology, passion plays and Shakespearean tales are often updated or transformed from play to musical to opera or  even ballet.  Most recently the Broadway stage has found a new re-telling of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth in the form of the TONY Award winning  HADESTOWN and the tour is playing at Shea's Buffalo through this Sunday.

The Public Theater has announced the complete cast for the staged world premiere play shadow/land, written by Erika Dickerson-Despenza and directed by Candis C. Jones.

Rehearsals are under way for a vibrant new adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, in a co-production between Prescot’s Shakespeare North Playhouse and Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre.
