Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) presents The Marriage of Bette and Boo by Christopher Durang in weekend performances October 10 through November 2.

Nashville Ballet returns to its roots to kick off the 2014-2015 performance season with one of the world's best known ballets, Swan Lake. This classical story ballet, presented by nFocus Magazine and Bridgestone Americas, takes the stage for the first time since 2010 at TPAC's Jackson Hall, October 17-19. The Joffrey Ballet celebrates its 20th anniversary of calling Chicago home in the 2014-15 season and its annual fall engagement brings the Joffrey Premiere of a newly envisioned Swan Lake to Chicago for the first time, choreographed by one of ballet's most acclaimed choreographers, Christopher Wheeldon. Continuing Joffrey Artistic Director Ashley Wheater's endeavor to bring re-imagined story-ballets to Chicago audiences, this performance represents the first time The Joffrey Ballet has ever performed a Swan Lake in its almost 60-year history. Swan Lake is presented at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, 50 E. Congress Parkway, in 10 performances only, October 15 - 26.

From the 10 - 15 March 2015 English National Ballet presents Modern Masters: Icons of 20th Century Choreography, a new triple bill at Sadler's Wells. The evening's programme includes works from two choreographers new to the Company's repertoire, William Forsythe's In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated and Spring and Fall by John Neumeier. The triple bill also includes Ji?í Kylián's Petite Mort, first performed by the Company in Ecstasy and Death in 2013.

White's timeless children's novel, with music by Tony Award-winning composer, Jason Robert Brown. Norman and Brown are also currently represented on Broadway with the new musical adaptation of The Bridges of Madison County.

After a months-long series of competitions at the district, regional, and national levels, a panel of judges has named five young singers the winners of the 2014 National Council Auditions, the nation's most prestigious vocal competition. Each winner, who performed two arias onstage at the Metropolitan Opera this afternoon with conductor Marco Armiliatoand the Met's orchestra, will receive a $15,000 cash prize and the prestige and exposure that come with winning a competition that has launched the careers of many of opera's biggest stars.
