It's the 20th anniversary of Broadway's tender and funny, smart and sexy Victor/ Victoria and the Ogunquit Playhouse is celebrating by mounting a full-scale glamorous production of the musical comedy June 24 to July 18, complete with the original Broadway and touring sets designed by Robin Wagner and costumes by Willa Kim.

Written by acclaimed film director Blake Edwards with music by Henry Mancini, 'Victor/Victoria' is a nod to 'classic Broadway' while giving a humorous look at the nature of love, gender perceptions and the battle of the sexes.

Victor/Victoria enjoyed its British premier at the Bridewell Theatre in 2004 and now Sedos - the City of London's leading amateur theatre company - bring the show back to the theatre for a short run (26 November-6 December 2014).

I talk with actor Michael Brian Dunn about VICTOR/VICTORIA, Dick Van Dyke, Meryl Streep, and his experience working on the stage and screen.

Uptown Players, a professional theater group located in the Uptown area of Dallas, has announced its 2011 season, which will feature the regional premieres of Young Man From Atlanta, The Temperamentals, and an exciting musical to be named later, as well as the musical comedy Victor/Victoria at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. 'Victor/Victoria' the 1982 musical comedy film was a remake of 'Victor und Viktoria' penned by German screenplay writer Hans Hoemburg and directed by Reinhold Schunzel in 1933. The film starred Julie Andrews as Victor/Victoria, James Garner, Robert Preston, Lesley Ann Warren, Alex Karras and John Rhys-Davies.
