Don't miss the third installment of Segerstrom Center for the Arts' wildly popular free Movie Mondays when it returns to the Arts Plaza next week (July 25) with musical comedy Victor/Victoria featuring Julie Andrews and James Garner. To honor the film, the Center is hosting a Can Can Food Drive, collecting non-perishable food items for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Guests are invited to arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. with the movie starting at dusk.
Led by an all-star cast including Julie Andrews, James Garner, Robert Preston and Leslie Ann Warren under the direction of Blake Edwards, and a score by Henry Mancini, this musical comedy of errors and mistaken identities will certainly tickle your funny bone - whether you are a man or a woman! Rated PG, 1982, 2 hours and 12 minutes.
Guests are encouraged to bring beach chairs or other easily portable seating items, as well as snacks and picnic suppers. Join us again on August 1 for the stage-to-screen adaptation of Chicago with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renée Zellweger and Richard Gere.
