First reported by BroadwayWorld.com back in July, it's now official that Angela Lansbury will return to the West End, as Madame Arcati in BLITHE SPIRIT for a 15-week run which will begin on March 1, 2014, according to the Daily Mail.

In today's People.com, Tony-winning actress Angela Lansbury, who starred in the original TV series, revealed that though she is a fan of Spencer, she believes a reboot of the popular CBS series is a mistake.

Tony winners Tyne Daly and Christine Ebersole will be joined by Tony nominee Hunter Foster, Justin Guarini, Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley in special vocal performances honoring Ms. Lansbury. Theatrical veterans and Tony winners Boyd Gaines and Alfred Uhry, both who worked with Ms. Lansbury on the 2013 Australian Tour of Driving Miss Daisy, will join as special guests.

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced the creation of the Bucks County Playhouse Hall of Fame to honor theatrical luminaries who have graced the New Hope stage. The inaugural inductee will be the five-time Tony Award winner and Playhouse alumna Angela Lansbury.

According to a recent interview with ABC Classic FM, stage and screen star Angela Lansbury will return to Broadway in Fall 2013 in a revival of THE CHALK GARDEN. An official announcement has not yet been made. Lansbury revealed on the podcast: 'A rather exciting event coming up in the fall is a new production of The Chalk Garden by Enid Bagnold. It's a lovely play. Wonderful role, Mrs. St. [Maugham]. We're going to do that on Broadway- so if you're in New York, I hope you'll come and see it.'
