Today, the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) announced it has extended Gianandrea Noseda's contract as Music Director for an additional two seasons, through the 2026–2027 season, his tenth at the helm of the NSO.

American Mural Project announced today A Tribute to American Workers, a virtual event featuring actor and educator Geoffrey Owens (The Cosby Show and Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots) and award-winning radio journalist John Dankosky. NAATCO, today announced that the company has commissioned five Asian American playwrights, all women, to write monologues for characters no younger than 60-years-old. Each monologue will be at least 30 minutes long, and all five will be performed together as a piece entitled Out of Time.

Social issues, growing up, political climate & love are just a few topics the band discuss in their music. Today, the band has released a new single entitled “Glaciers.”

Actor Bruce Sabath (Company, Cagney,  Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish) celebrated the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris by producing an uplifting music video of the song 'Beautiful City' from the Stephen Schwartz musical Godspell.  The video features Sabath in locations around New York. Also featured are photographs of New York City, submitted by Sabath's colleagues and fans, who responded to a mention of the project on social media.
