Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, will transform the historic theater with an all new version of Ragtime: The Musical as it returns to Los Angeles more than two decades after its premiere at the Shubert Theatre. It was announced today that Australian daredevil Sam Powers, aka The Enigma, will join the Melbourne season of The Illusionists: Direct from Broadway at The Regent Theatre from 22 January 2019. Described by critics as a new breed of escape artist, Powers will attempt a world first, death defying escape in a nail biting, edge-of-your-seat spectacle that would have Houdini turn in his grave.

Eisemann Center Presents Page Turner Adventures' production of The Magnificent Circus Mystery on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Hill Performance Hall at the Eisemann Center. A steamer trunk, a mysterious book, and a hat belonging to Harry Houdini begin a show filled with magic, juggling, unicycling, and physical comedy. The audience must solve clues, overcome obstacles, and figure out a 90 year-old-secret as they help to create the story from beginning to end.
