The cast of Disney's Aladdin, led by Adam Jacobs (Aladdin) and Tony Award-winner James Monroe Iglehart (Genie), will perform a never-before-seen version of the show-stopping production number "Friend Like Me" live from the stage of the New Amsterdam Theatre on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

It has been announced that Arielle Jacobs, star of the Australian production of Disney's ALADDIN, will be departing Aggrabah this December 4th. 

Guy Ritchie is currently in discussions to helm a live-action re-imagining of Disney's ALADDIN. The project marks the latest in a string of upcoming live-action reboots of Disney classics

Today, Disney Theatrical Productions announced Aladdin the hit Broadway musical, will open at Her Majesty's Theatre in April 2017. Tickets will be available to the general public through Ticketek from 9AM, Thursday 6 October.

You never know what might happen with live theatre, and that was certainly the case for the lucky audience members who got to witness Tony Winner, Tony Awards Host, and everyone's favorite Carpool Karaoke driver, James Corden, in a cameo role at the Friday night performance of Disney's Aladdin on Broadway. Corden apparently assisted the Genie in the musical's show-stopping number, 'Friend Like Me.'
