Producers of the Broadway play Chicken & Biscuits announced that the production will resume performances on Friday, November 19, 2021, before playing a final performance of its limited engagement at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street) on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

There was a family reunion this weekend at the Circle in the Square Theatre! Stage and screen favorite Vanessa Williams attended Chicken and Biscuits on Broadway and stopped backstage to visit two of her past costars- Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) and Norm Lewis (Sondheim by Sondheim, Show Boat). Production photos have been released of CHICKEN & BISCUITS, the new comedy written by Douglas Lyons and directed by Zhailon Levingston, making its Broadway premiere at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street.) 

The new Broadway comedy that audiences are eating up, Douglas Lyons’ CHICKEN & BISCUITS, has announced that global superstars and entrepreneurs Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have joined the producing team of the show, which is currently in previews at Circle in the Square Theatre.

Last night, September 23, marked the first preview of the play Chicken & Biscuits,  by Douglas Lyons, directed by directed by Zhailon Levingston. Following the performance, one of the play's stars, Norm Lewis read the names of every person making their Broadway debut in the production, in onstage and off-stage roles, and invited them onto the stage to be celebrated.

In celebration of moving into the theater & the 32 Broadway debuts taking place on and off stage, the company of CHICKEN & BISCUITS threw a picnic outside Circle In The Square Theatre with chicken and biscuits from Field Trip & Cheryl’s Global Soul.

Rehearsals have officially begun for CHICKEN & BISCUITS and the full company, including the cast, gathered at the rehearsal studio this week for a moving meet & greet session to launch the play's rehearsal period.
