WICKED, the “world class West End musical” (Official London Theatre) that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, is delighted to confirm that Alice Fearn (Elphaba), Sophie Evans (Glinda), Melanie La Barrie (Madame Morrible), Andy Hockley (The Wizard), Jack Lansbury (Boq), Laura Pick (Standby for Elphaba) and Carina Gillespie & Maria Coyne* (Standby for Glinda) will all continue in their current roles. Joining them, from Monday 23 July 2018, will be the previously announced David Witts as Fiyero together with Chris Jarman (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Doctor Dillamond and current cast member Rosa O'Reilly, who takes over the role of Nessarose.

To celebrate the debut of the Frozen Original Broadway Cast Recording, the show has just released a brand new, behind-the-scenes music video of its best known song and Act I closer, "Let It Go." This is the first time that the Broadway version of the song, and Caissie Levy's (Elsa) thrilling vocal performance, have been heard outside of the St. James Theatre. The video takes the viewer into the recording studio with Levy and into the backstage and onstage worlds of the cast of the Broadway production of Frozen. "Let It Go" won the Academy Award® in 2014 for Best Original Song.

The Frozen Original Broadway Cast Recording will be on sale digitally by Walt Disney Records on Friday, May 11, 2018 at digital music services. The physical album will be available on Friday, June 8, 2018 wherever music is sold. The album is produced by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, Stephen Oremus, Dave Metzger and Chris Montan.

Idina Menzel appeared as a guest mentor on last night's episode of American Idol. Menzel, who joined the Disney ranks with Frozen, was on hand to guide the Top 10 singers through a Disney themed competition. THE BOOK OF MORMON is a satirical musical with book, lyrics, and music by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone, the creators of the long running Comedy Central animated series South Park, along with Lopez, the co-composer/co-lyricist of Avenue Q and Frozen, have created a show that simultaneously deconstructs the American musical while paying loving homage to it. THE BOOK OF MORMON is the story of two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to Uganda on their first mission. The only thing the two boys have in common is their naive outlook on life. When they try to spread 'the word' among the locals they discover that religion is the last thing the villagers are concerned about.
