Welcome to this week's edition of BroadwayWorld's exclusive WEEKLY GROSSES ANALYSIS - read on for all the weekly grosses statistics for the movers and shakers from the latest grosses, for the week ending 4/22/2018.

Just a reminder that this week included press comps for Harry Potter, which opened officially on Broadway yesterday, April 22.

This week, 36 shows played on Broadway, with 314,967 tickets sold and a total gross of $37,506,240. The average ticket price was $119.08.

This was the same as the number of shows as last week and down 2 vs. the same week last year. Compared to last week, attendance was up 1.07%. Versus last year, attendance was down -0.02%. On the sales front, overall grosses were down -0.59% vs. last week and up 4.49% vs. this week last year. This week's average ticket price of $119.08 is down $-1.99 compared to last week and up $5.14 compared to last year.
