The Music Man officially begins previews tonight on Broadway! Meet the cast bringing the iconic musical back to the stage!

The Green Room 42 has announced their line-up through the holidays and New Year’s Eve. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest, most spacious, and funkiest cabaret club.

Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere musical Kimberly Akimbo features book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire, music by Tony Award-winner Jeanine Tesori, based on the critically acclaimed play of the same name by David Lindsay-Abaire, choreography by Danny Mefford, and direction by Jessica Stone.

This evening, Wicked on Broadway, will welcome actor Jordan Barrow to its principal cast in the role of Boq. The role marks Barrow's Broadway debut, as well as the first Black actor to play the role in North America.  

Thank goodness! Brittney Johnson will take over the role of Glinda in Wicked on Broadway, beginning performances on February 14, 2022 at Broadway's Gershwin Theatre. Currently the Glinda standby, Ms. Johnson will be the first Black actress to assume the role of Glinda.

During an appearnace on The Tonight Show, Kristin Chenoweth commented on the recent news that Ariana Grande would be playing Glinda in the new film adaption of Wicked. When asked about the possibility of making a cameo in the film, Chenoweth shared her idea of how she and original Elphaba Idina Menzel should make an appearance in the film.

In 2003, the original company of Wicked made its way to 34th Street to perform 'One Short Day' at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Earlier today, almost two decades later, the company returned for an encore! Watch the full performance below.

Unlike last year, where in-person viewing was prohibited to avoid the spread of COVID-19, spectators are returning to attend this year’s version of a time-honored tradition. With a huge live audience again, I am personally excited to watch and experience the tangible excitement as the crowds witness the parading of larger than life balloons, precise marching bands, and of course, incredible singers, dancers, and Broadway casts.

The Kansas City Broadway Series has announced the three-week engagement of the Broadway musical sensation, WICKED. The national tour of WICKED will take the Music Hall stage from January 5–23, 2022.

Broadway is back at the Fox Cities P.A.C. and with it comes a boost to the economy to the tune of $13.4 million.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today casting and additional creative team members for The Streets of New York by Dion Boucicault, featuring adaptation, songs & direction by Charlotte Moore. The Streets of New York will begin previews on December 4, 2021, with an opening night scheduled for December 14 and a limited run through January 30, 2022.

Performances of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL at the Fabulous Fox run November 16-28. Show times are Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m., Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance on Thursday, November 18 at 1 p.m.
