The Producers of NIGHT AT THE BARRACKS, NORTH HEAD, MANLY, are excited to announce the full program for the inaugural concert series to be held from Friday 9 September over five weekends.  This amazing line-up of artists will perform on a specially built outdoor stage in the beautiful setting of the historic barracks. 

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this April with a full slate of nightly performances!

The Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, America’s longest running festival of new orchestral music, celebrates its 60th Anniversary season with a return to a live, in-person concert season after two years of virtual orchestra and multi-disciplinary explorations. Atlantic Theater Company has announced casting for the world premiere production of The Bedwetter, a new musical with a book by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon and Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman, lyrics by Emmy Award winner Adam Schlesinger and Sarah Silverman.

New York Theatre Barn will present a reading of Everyone Comes to Elaine’s, a new musical about iconic restaurateur Elaine Kaufman with Tony Award® nominee Mary Testa (Oklahoma, The Gardens of Anuncia) in the title role. Justin Vivian Bond brought vself new show STORMING THE GLAMPARTS to Joe's Pub inside the beautiful Public Theatre this week. I was lucky enough to catch Thursday night's performance and was dazzled by the brilliance of Bond's talent, brains, and beauty. V is a true one-of-a-kind entertainer. V is outrageous while being grounded in very traditional entertainment forms. V presents vself as a chanteuse with a good deal of diva energy. V arrangements by musical director, Matt Ray are all firmly rooted in the cabaret vernacular. But Justin Vivian Bond goes to a level beyond simply cabaret. V show is a good-natured exposé of everything that's important in 2021. And even though Bond claims to rate low on the empathy scale, v show is the perfect picture of inclusion, empathy, and love.
