Fredericks directs theatre veteran Richard Clews whose credits include King Lear, (Chichester Festival Theatre) and extensive work for the RSC and Shakespeare's Globe, Sarah Lam (Chimerica, Almeida Theatre / Harold Pinter Theatre, Lucky Man, No Problem!) and Sam Graham (Spooks, Kingdom, Footballer's Wives) who join the previously announced 'Bright Young Things' - EastEnders' Eddie Eyre, Call the Midwife's Leo Staar, West End stars Siubhan Harrison and Nancy Sullivan along with Daniel Cane, Mabel Clements and Joshua Hill completing the full company. Midsommer Flight Announces 2018 Season

Midsommer Flight will expand programming in its 2018 season to include a free Two Gentlemen of Verona in the parks this summer, special staged reading of RICHARD III in spring and the holiday perennial TWELFTH NIGHT. Midsommer Flight, the professional not-for-profit theatre company that has been bringing free Shakespeare to Chicago parks since 2012, will expand its programming from two to three productions for its 2018 season. EgoPo Stages Final Part Of Lydie Breeze Trilogy 4/11-22

The initial run of EgoPo Classic Theater's epic presentation of John Guare's Lydie Breeze Trilogy comes to a close in April. The pinnacle of EgoPo's 25th Anniversary season and its season-long John Guare Festival, this epic piece of theater about an American family, set between the Civil War and the birth of the 20th-century, moves into its final part. EgoPo produced three separate production runs of each part of the trilogy, which will be followed by two weeks of three-day marathons and four opportunities for single-day marathons. EgoPo is collaborating with Guare to present all three plays, now titled Cold Harbor, Aipotu, and Madaket Road in a consecutive cycle, with music by Jay Ansill and Cynthia Hopkins. (more...)

The pinnacle of EgoPo's 25th Anniversary season and its season-long John Guare Festival will be seeing Guare's Lydie Breeze Trilogy in one of two marathon formats. EgoPo is collaborating with Guare to present all three plays, now titled Cold Harbor, Aipotu, and Madaket Road in a consecutive cycle, with music by Jay Ansill and Cynthia Hopkins. This epic piece of theater about an American family, set between the Civil War and the birth of the 20th-century, runs from April 25-May 6. Sharone and Ray met dancing in wet suits and spandex sparkles in the Broadway production of Mamma Mia! and are excited to team up for their first duo show at Feinstein's/54 Below.
