The official cancellation of the Ultra Music Festival due to Coronavirus concerns has devastated many ravers, who travel from all over the world to attend one of the most iconic events in electronic music. However, Carnage is telling his fans not to fear - the Heavyweight Records boss has a backup plan for all of the stranded ravers! Carnage is giving out 1,000 tickets to his Heavyweight Royal Rumble showcase at Toe Jam Backlot on March 21st.

The Regional Emmy-Award Winning musical theatre training organization, Young Artists of America (YAA), is now welcoming 4th and 5th grade students into their Summer Performing Arts Intensives. Previously, the program, known to many as the premiere training ground for dedicated musical theatre students in the Mid-Atlantic, was only open to students in middle school and high school. Starting in June of 2020, elementary school students (ages 9+) will be welcomed into the new daytime program, Kids Academy, an introduction to musical theatre led by the region's top teaching artists.

Rising singer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jack Bruno, who cooks up his own punked-up and gothed-out style of hip-hop, has dropped his new single 'Someday (Before U Get Bored)' featuring The Strokes. The high-energy rock/rap hybrid inspired by The Strokes' hit 'Someday,'available via Winning Team Music, was produced by Bruno and mixed by Neil Avron[Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots]. The official music video for the track is directed by Logan Meis [Trippie Redd, Khalid, Lil Yachty]. 'Someday (Before U Get Bored)' will appear on a forthcoming EP, due out this spring.

North Carolina Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming production of Memphis, playing March 24-29, 2020 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. North Carolina Theatre's production will be directed and choreographed by Broadway performer Robert Hartwell, and Eric Woodall is NC Theatre's producing artistic director.
