Richmond Triangle Players celebrates the greatest cult musical of all time with its production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, in a strictly limited run, opening Friday October 18, 2019, at 8 pm, following one low-priced preview on Thursday, October 17 at 8 pm. Garden Theatre is known for its professional stage shows, education programs, and summer Milk Money Movies, but the theatre is now expanding into interactive movies for film buffs of all ages. In the 2019 - 2020 season, the Garden will host six Interactive Movie events. Richard O'Brien's cult rock and roll musical Rocky Horror Show launches its 2019 World Tour with a festive stint at Brighton's Theatre Royal.

The St. George Theatre announces its first-ever classic movie series for 2019 entitled "Better on the Big Screen".  Sponsored by Williams Eye Works and Borough Five Pictures, the series will present twelve iconic films on the theatre's "big screen" over the course of the year to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the historic former movie palace which opened in 1929.

THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW premiered in London in 1973. After a successful run in Los Angeles in 1974, the show flopped on Broadway and closed after a mere 45 performances. Its fate as a cult-classic was sealed though when the 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' film opened in 1975.

Comedian Dom Joly, actress Beverley Callard, TV presenter Alison Hammond, comedian Steve Punt and actor Philip Franks will star as The Narrator in the 2018/9 UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show. The five stars will take to the stage to perform the iconic role at various moments during the new national tour of the show, which opens at Theatre Royal Brighton this December and then travels across the country until November 2019. More celebrity narrators will be announced over the coming months.
