CMS'sa??50th anniversarya??seasona??will welcome spring with programs that look back and look forward.  On April 3, Mozart's groundbreakinga??Piano Quartet in G minor, composed by the genius who invented the piano-violin-viola-cello quartet, shows how this new combination of instruments gave an opportunity for expressiveness that would become more pronounced in the Romantic age.  The piece is combined with a piano quartet and a quintet that follow in the next hundred years a?" one by Mendelssohn and one by Strauss.

Christine Gradl Seitz Ends Distinguished Career with Duluth Playhouse

The Board of Directors of the Duluth Playhouse has announced Christine Gradl Seitz will retire from her position as Executive and Artistic Director of the Duluth Playhouse effective September 30, 2020. Seitz has been leading the Playhouse since January 2000.

Takach, on the Octagon Stage December 7 - 29, 2019. Directed by Melissa Rain Anderson, this dramatic retelling weaves together firsthand accounts of World War I soldiers with patriotic tunes, trench songs, and Christmas carols.
