Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Pittsfield, MA., in the heart of the Berkshires, and under the leadership of Founder/Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, has announced its 2020 season. BSC will present two World Premiere musicals and new productions of a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical classic, a Tony Award-winning musical revue, and a Pulitzer Prize-winning play.

Magnet Theater presents The Eleventh Annual New York Musical Improv Festival from March 12 - 15, 2020 at 254 W. 29th Street, ground floor (between 7th and 8th Avenues), NYC. The Recording Academy® welcomes the newest inductions to its distinguished GRAMMY Hall Of Fame®, continuing its ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating timeless recordings. This year's additions recognize a diverse range of both single and album recordings at least 25 years old that exhibit qualitative or historical significance. Recordings are reviewed each year by a special member committee comprised of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts, with final approval by the Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees. With 26 new titles, the Hall, now in its 47th year, currently totals 1,114 recordings. The 2020 GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductions are available to stream via a playlist here.

Erik Lee Preminger, the son of legendary burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee (whose 1957 memoirs inspired the classic musical GYPSY) and film director Otto Preminger, will appear in-person at Naples's Theatrezone on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 to present his one-man show about his famous mother (featuring rare home movies, television shows, newsreel footage, a question-and-answer session, and more). Within the context of a magic show, Mr. Hirata connects his own personal story to that of earlier Japanese magicians in a way that explores the illusions of race and identity in America. Talking with him, it's evident that he's a true magic geek as he delights in sharing his extensive knowledge about the history of magic and finding hidden links to his heritage as a Japanese American.

The Actors' Gang and Tim Robbins announced the upcoming North American Tour of THE NEW COLOSSUS for the 2019-2020 season. Directed and co-written by Academy Award-winning Tim Robbins (Mystic River, Dead Man Walking, The Shawshank Redemption), THE NEW COLOSSUS will play a limited tour and visit cities such as Charlotte, NC (Jan. 28-Feb. 2, 2020 - Knight Theater), Detroit, MI (Feb. 14-16, 2020 - Music Hall), Seattle, WA (Feb. 20-22, 2020 - Moore Theatre), Nashville, TN (April 9-11, 2020 - James K. Polk Theater) and others. A list of announced tour dates for the 2019-2020 season is below. Casting will be announced later.

Critically acclaimed, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated duo Max & Ivan have added an additional three dates to their UK tour of hit show Commitment.
