Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) – the world’s largest ballet scholarship competition – is hosting  its 2022 Season Finals and Benefit Gala in Tampa, FL through April 19th, 2022.

The UK's largest annual festival of visual art has announced Kim McAleese as its new Director. She takes up the position ahead of the 18th edition of the festival, which returns from Thursday 28 July to Sunday 28 August 2022.

The Brisk Festival is an international theater festival that features short plays up to 10 min long. What makes live theater so special is the human interaction, both between the players on stage and between actors and the audience. The Brisk Festival multiplies that raw and creative energy, with different ensembles, directors, and writers exchanging ideas, learning from each other, and training inspiration. The short stories allow audiences to experience in a very limited amount of time a wide range of emotions and feelings, making them think and talk about different subjects and situations brought by nearly 200 talented participants.

The opening reception in Cooper Union's Great Hall on April 6 will include a lecture, panel discussion, and a musical performance composed for the occasion.

Paul Williams, President of The ASCAP Foundation, has announced that Patrick Holcomb is named recipient of the 42nd ASCAP Foundation Rudolf Nissim Prize. The prize is awarded for Persephone, a seven and a half-minute work for orchestra. Selected by a panel of conductors, Holcomb is awarded a prize of $5,000.
