In what is clearly proving to be the must-see stage production of the new year so far here in Southern California, McCoy Rigby Entertainment's stunning new production of the 1979 Tony Award-winning classic SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET—now playing a limited engagement at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts through February 22, 2026—has been revived locally with thrilling visuals, Broadway-caliber showmanship, creative hutzpah, and a spectacular cast led by Tony nominee Will Swenson as the titular vengeful London barber and the hilarious Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita as pie shop proprietor Mrs. Lovett.

BroadwayWorld and Immortal Icons of Dance invited alumni who’ve been part of A Chorus Line’s history to share personal reflections about how the show shaped their lives and careers. The ultimate pioneer of post-modern dance, Trisha Brown, is known for her abandonment of classic shapes, twisted choreographic pathways, and the constant contrast of freedom and bondage in dance. Following the choreographer’s death in 2017, Trisha Brown Dance Company continues her legacy through classic stage performances, relocated works on site, and lastly, newly commissioned works for their 2024 Joyce Season.

THE TRISHA BROWN DANCE COMPANY will present its second commissioned work at The Joyce Theater, March 26-31. New York premiere of 'In the Fall' by Noé Soulier, along with Brown's iconic works 'Working Title' and 'Glacial Decoy.'

A group of Styx fans have organized an online petition lobbying the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to recognize the '70s and '80s superstars by inducting them. Styx released their self-titled debut album in 1972 and first became eligible for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
